Nick and Case, Best Friends.

Come on, almost over.

Case stared at the clock in agony. It was just two minutes til the end of class, and it was killing him to get out. He slumped back in his chair and sighed. Right when he thought he would be there forever the bell rang and he got out, and went to meet Nick, his best friend. I hope he didn't forget again.

Case turned down a hall, and out of the school building, to the water fountain in the main yard of the school. The boarding school was large and wealthy so things like it were easy to find, but this was Nick and Case's favorite meeting place. Case arrived and waited for Nick to come.

Class was over but not for Joey he had detention for starting a food fight in the cafeteria he would've got away with it if some kids didn't rat him out. The teachers said he had detention for a solid hour. He sat there in silence being bored ouut of his mind no one to talk to nothing to do. Then he wondered if he broke out and met up with Case and Nick but that would be risky since there were 2 teachers in the room and no other kid in the room to assist him so he just said oh well and ran to the door. But as soon as he was close to door it opened and Joey got hit in the face and fell out.

"Heh, looks like he ain't coming," Case said. He didn't really care though, he had homework to go and finish anyway. So he went and picked up his knapsack, which was hanging by his feet.

He started walking back to the dorms, wondering exactly where Nick was anyway. When he arrived, he took a key from his pocket, unlocked the door, and threw he pack on his bed, before entering and closing the door behind him.

He sat down and sighing, took his homework out, and grabbed a pencil from the desk in the room. He began with math, but it was so boring he didn't finish it before heading out to explore around the school.

Case stopped for a moment. He had just gotton out of the dorms when he heard a knock. He opened the door back up to see Nick at his room. "Nick!" he called to him. "Over here!" he called.

(Do me a favor, italics are normall used when your charcter is thinking, so it saves us both time and thought.)

"You know, the sky," he answered easily. He got asked this every day, and 'the sky' was his everyday answer. It was the truth, as the sky was, well in the sky. "Whats down?" he asked with a grin.

"The Ground?, My Feet?, Uh I don't know." Nick said. "So, How Ya Been?"

Case facepalmed. "Wow that was silly. I've been great, thank," he said. "I hate how much homework I got, it'll take me over an hour to finish it," he said mouthing about how his teachers hated him.

"So what do you wanna do?" he asked a bit quickly.

"Yeah, i hate the homework too."
"Dunno, you?"

"Wanna go throw water balloons at the teachers again?" Case asked with a devious smile on his face. They never ever got caught before, and were normally smart enough to escape in the rare event they did.

(OOC: kay, now we're going to get caught, and Nick is gonna bail on Case, causing the war to start.)

"Sure, Why not." He said with a smile.
"lets go!" he shouted.

Case rolled his eyes, and took out his key. He opened his door once again, and ran to his stash of balloons. "Come on, let's get to the water fountain quickly. If they didn't, they would get caught.

"Let's go!"

Case ran off, leaving Nick behind him.

*Nick ran after Case.
"We better get There Quick!" He said.

Case ran through the doors, quickly sprinting to the water fountain. He took out a balloon, and started strentching it. Then he opened it up, and stuck it in the water, watching it fill up.

"This is going to be so awesome!"

"Sure is buddy!"
Nick got hold of a balloon, and filled it up.
about 3 mins later they filled all five balloons.
"Lets get this started!" He shouted.

"Come on," Case said, taking three ballons. He ran off, careful not to drop any. The day was growing warmer, surely the teacher would be just as glad as angry about this. Case didn't care, he just wanted to throw something.

Nick took the remaining two balloons.
Nick finally Caught up with Case.
"Are You Ready?"

"First we wait for a teacher to come by," Case said staring through the bush they were behind.

A teacher, after a few minutes, slowly walked by. "Fire!" Case whispered to nick.

He jumped up and threw his three balloons, two missing, and one hitting him, straight in his chest.

"Haha, I hit Mr.Davis!" he said to Nick, when he returned down.

"This is almost too easy, how hey make it. Now quick, throw the balloons before he comes over here!"

"Who's there?" Mr.Davis barked, peering over the bush, desperatly trying to rub water out of his eyes to see the culprits.

Case looked over at Nick, they both had a 'we're screwed' look on their faces. "How do we get out of this?" he whispered to Nick.

"Uh, I don't know. Maybe Run?"
"Well, I say Run!" He Shouted. Then started to sprint Off.

Mr,Davis opened his eyes and saw Case, then yelled, "SO YOU DID THIS?"

Nick had left Case to hang.

Nick had ran to his dorm, he opened the door. And sat down on his bed.
He kept on thinking about Case, and if he had got in trouble.
'I Hope He Is Okay.' He thought.

"Detention for the rest of the month!" Mr.Davis yelled, then stormed off.

Case went to go find Nick, and this time, it wasn't to have fun. Slowly, he appeared at Nick's door, and punched it five times.

That was their signal for never wanting to see each other again.
