Nick and Case, Best Friends.

Come on, almost over.

Case stared at the clock in agony. It was just two minutes til the end of class, and it was killing him to get out. He slumped back in his chair and sighed. Right when he thought he would be there forever the bell rang and he got out, and went to meet Nick, his best friend. I hope he didn't forget again.

Case turned down a hall, and out of the school building, to the water fountain in the main yard of the school. The boarding school was large and wealthy so things like it were easy to find, but this was Nick and Case's favorite meeting place. Case arrived and waited for Nick to come.

Nick Opened The Door, Hoping not to get punched.
"What?"

"Don't tell me you forgot the code. YOU DITCHED ME! Now I have all the detention, and you have NOTHING!" he spat toward him, walking off to his room. "We're no longer friends.

"Case....!"
"Well, I did tell you to run." He said.

"Yeah, your makeshift plan DIDN'T work so well for someone who was busy trying to grab all the things! I saved you, and you ditched me!" he spat, continuing to walk.

"Case...."
"Fine, be that way."
Nick Went back into his dorm, And slamed the door.

Case arrived at his door, took out his key once again, unlocked it, went inside, and shut the door. "I thought you were never going to argue, but I was wrong," he whispered silently.

The next day, Nick had Sports. He didn't like sports, so decided to skip Sports to find Case, and try to talk to him.

(You mean..gym?)

Case skipped gym, he and Nick had it together, and it wasn't required to be there. It was an extra class on Saturdays. He was almost saddned by the fact that he lost his friend.

A few hours later, a bell rang throughout the school, and you could hear faint noises of kids rushing. It was dinnertime. To save space, you had to choose one of your friens to sit together at one small table, and if anyone was caught sitting with others, they'd get detention. Case and Nick hated this rule sometimes, and today was one of those days. They were partners and they sat in a corner of the room.

Slowly he wandered to the cafeteria.

Nick, Slowly walked to the Cafeteria, he sat down. Then he saw Case.

Case stepped out of line, with his food. Grlowing slightly, he went and sat with Nick.

"So, how you been?" He said hopeing to get an reply.

"Done with homework," Case replied, a bit coldly, taking an apple off his tray, and bitinginto it, a scowl on his face. "You?" he asked evily

"Uh, nothing really. I've still got four sheets to do. He said.

He took his slice of Pizza, and took a bite. "Hmhm, Good Stuff!" He laughed.

Case merely nodded, grabbing chicken sandwhich off of his tray. "The school needs better cooks for most of the stuff here," he said quietly. He really wanted his friend back, but didn't want to give up. Not until his detention was over. Or Nick went and said he threw balloons as well.

"So, I have detention after dinner," he said. "This sucks, I have it for a month."
